Come work with a high-energy team of talented engineers committed to building a suite of interactive, real-time, and user friendly simulation visualization tools for use in both MATLAB and Simulink.
Develop and maintain simulation visualization applications including graphical tools and the underlying infrastructure. You are expected to participate in all stages of software lifecycle, for example: gathering requirements, developing functional specifications, implementing extensible, object-oriented code, testing, and maintaining existing code bases. You are expected to develop Simulink focused APIs to these tools, maximize initialization and run-time performance, and help integrate reusable HTML components. In addition, you will work with teams such as Quality Engineering, Documentation, Technical Marketing, and Usability to successfully achieve your goals.
• B.S. with 5+ years of experience or M.S. with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field
• Strong programming experience with C++
• Object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Experience with large-scale code bases, with a desire to dive in, understand existing code, improve, redesign and generalize existing functionalities
• Excellent Team and Communication skills
Nice to have:
• Experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dojo
• Experience using UML
• Experience developing Graphical User Interfaces
• Experience in full life-cycle software development with a focus on quality
• Familiarity with working on different operating systems
