Job Summary

Do you have an aptitude and desire to write about technical topics? Do you have a strong signal processing or communications systems background with programming experience? Come join a team at MathWorks that writes online help content for MATLAB and Simulink users in the communications and signal processing domain. Develop content that shows creative ways to design and simulate communications systems, including standards-based modeling and software defined radio.  Become part of a multidisciplinary team and help shape the design of cutting-edge software for communications system simulation.

Responsibilities

 

  • Write user-focused content that explains key theoretical concepts and practical solutions in communications system modeling to our end users
  • Develop examples and tutorials that use our software to model and design communications systems
  • Participate with the development team in the planning, specification, and testing phases of product development

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience, or master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Knowledge of Communications Systems
  • Experience with Signal Processing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate-level technical degree
  • Work experience modeling communications systems
  • Experience working in a software development environment
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, or other MathWorks products
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
