Job Summary
MathWorks’ Computational Biology products enable scientists to understand and predict biological behavior. As the worldwide product marketing manager, you will develop and execute on plans to drive increased adoption in fields such as systems pharmacology, PK/PD, bioinformatics, systems biology, and biostatistics. You will collaborate with sales, development, science industry marketing, education technical evangelists and other teams to develop the market plans, messages, and content.
Responsibilities
- Drive awareness and adoption of MathWorks Computational Biology products
- Develop outbound selling materials including web pages, videos, and examples
- Develop content and messaging for lead generation including webinars and web offers
- Collaborate with marketing communications to develop and execute effective promotion strategies
- Identify appropriate conferences, industry events, and speaking opportunities to promote messaging
- Develop marketing strategy and tactical plans
- Develop customer presentations, white papers, examples, and training content
- Collaborate with education evangelists in supporting faculty members to develop curriculum
- Measure sales effectiveness and adoption for the product area and develop plans to enhance penetration and growth in both commercial segments and academia
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- M.S. or Ph.D. in a Life Sciences area such as Bioinformatics, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, or Systems Biology required
- 2+ years experience with MATLAB required
- Experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, or mathematical modeling
- Experience in product marketing, product management, or application engineering
- Experience and/or eagerness to work in a highly collaborative, consensus-based team environment
- Strong presentation and writing skills
