Job Summary

Help us develop content that shows creative ways to solve technical computing problems in a wide range of applications. Become a part of a multi-disciplinary team and help shape the design of cutting-edge software
Responsibilities
- Write user-focused content that explains key concepts and solutions to our end users
- Develop examples and tutorials to show how to use our software to solve a variety of technical computing problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop our products
- Help MathWorks develop next generation online resources
- Participate in the software development process, review software requirements and functional designs, provide comments and suggest improvements
- Identify missing topics and fill gaps in existing information
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience, or master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree is required.
- Experience with a programming language (MATLAB, C++, Java, Python, etc.)
- Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Ability to explain science and engineering concepts in writing
Nice to have:
- Experience using MATLAB
- Experience writing for an engineering audience
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
