Job Summary
Work as a systems liaison between Finance and IT to support and maintain the ERP applications and financial reporting systems. Partner with end users to understand their business functions and processes. Define, develop, and configure software solutions that meet business requirements of Finance and Operations. Provide functional support for users. Help lead the expansion of automated processes to improve existing practices and address new business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the production Oracle EBS ERP environment for the Order to Cash track (Order Management, A/R, Inventory).
- Provide troubleshooting support for Oracle EBS; differentiates functional issues from technical issues.
- Coordinate with end users and IT to ensure timely and accurate performance of the production environment supporting Finance and Operations.
- Understand the business models of MathWorks and work closely with end users to identify, recommend, and implement business process improvements.
- Write reports using Business Objects, BI Publisher and/or Oracle Report Manager to support the various reporting requirements of Finance and Operations.
- Perform as a core team member and/or project lead for software project implementations.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training to end users.
- Document systems procedures to facilitate cross training.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of professional work experience, or a Master's degree with professional experience is required.
- Experience supporting ERP applications (Oracle EBS a plus).
- Functional knowledge in one of the following modules from the Order to Cash track: Order Management, Accounts Receivable, or Inventory.
- Experience with aspects of the application change management cycle, including requirements gathering, developing test plans and delivering training.
- Basic knowledge of the accounting and order cycle.
- Customer service oriented.
Pluses:
- Experience supporting a global organization.
- Knowledge of relational databases, BI Publisher, Oracle Report Writer and SQL.
