Job Summary

As a Geographic Sales Account Manager, the qualified candidate will be responsible for selling the company's products and services via telephone and on-site visits to customers primarily in a geographic territory. This individual will be responsible for generating and qualifying sales leads, determining customer needs, overcoming objections and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key decision makers/Influencers
  • Prepare and implement sales territory/account plans, including activity reports and forecasts
  • Close sales via telephone and customer visits
  • Attainment of annual sales goals for product sales and services
  • Prospect within territory including existing customer base
  • Set up Internal seminar on customer site to build awareness and create need
  • Manage sales funnel from lead to close

Qualifications Required / Preferred

Bachelors Degree and first direct technical software sales experience required.
Knowledge of a vertical market is a plus (Telecom, Pharma, Energy.)
