Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, creative and energetic Quality Engineer with expertise in testing modern web applications whose interest, curiosity and passion drives innovation and production quality to new levels. The Web Application Quality Engineer is responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on testing of our Simulink web technology product set. As a member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in the project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release. 

Responsibilities

The JavaScript Quality Engineer is responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on testing of our Simulink web technology product set. Specifically you will:

  • Write automated test suites using MATLAB and Selenium to test the functionality of the model simulation product set. 
  • Participate in the project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release.
  • Work closely with the Simulink Development, QE, and Documentation teams.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in web application development languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB.
  • Experience with Simulink or Model Based Design software.
  • Experience with GUI testing.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Experience with Java, JQuery and Dojo is a plus.
  • Experience with parallel computing, cluster and asynchronous web testing.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, and methods of Software Development and Quality Engineering.
