Job Summary

Join our energetic and growing team in supporting our large and expanding Build & Test data centers and our Development desktop resources.  We seek an extremely sharp individual who is technically expert, attentive to detail, eager to learn, and who takes pride in their work to help us keep this mission-critical equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

You will help us to package, install, and deploy applications, troubleshoot interoperability issues, develop automation tools, and work with us and the Development community to resolve issues.  You will interact with other teams to gather requirements and devise solutions for changing our machine configurations.  You will identify and drive improvements to the consistency, correctness, availability, and performance of our systems.  You will need to be able to execute on project and operational responsibilities with limited supervision.

Qualifications Required / Preferred

  • B.S. in Computer Science or other related technical field.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of, and 3+ years of hands-on experience with and Linux administration including automation, Imaging, and deployment (Net-boot/Net-Install).
  • Must have experience with scripting i.e. AppleScript, Bourne Shell, Python, PERL, Expect.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Must have experience in a customer support role.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and balance priorities with good time management.
  • Must be self-directed and motivated to work and learn independently within our collaborative team environment.

Nice to have:  

  • Experience in hardware set up in data center setting
  • Experience with MacOS, Windows and other Unix operating systems is a plus.
