Java User Interface Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an engineer with a flair for usability to enhance our Java-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
You will design and implement the user interface using multiple technologies including Java, MATLAB, AJAX, and more; in collaboration with usability experts and other developers.
The MATLAB Coder team is responsible for converting MATLAB code into embeddable C and/or VHDL/Verilog. Our team is small and growing. Our product is widely used and rapidly evolving.

- Develop highly-reliable software by following best practices
- Improve our quality of life with creative projects, workflows, and tools.
- Strive for excellence in all things!
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, concurrency, and software design.
- Java experience.
- Experience developing graphical user interfaces. Swing experience a plus.
- Experience with web technologies a strong plus.
