Senior MATLAB Infrastructure Quality Engineer
Job Summary
The Senior MATLAB Infrastructure Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on testing of low-level MATLAB infrastructure components. As a member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release
Responsibilities
The main tasks will focus on creating test plans, writing automated test suites, performing interactive product testing, reporting bugs, and participating in component design reviews and usability testing. As an individual contributor in the QE department, the candidate will work closely with Engineering, Documentation, and Usability teams.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
• BS + 7 years experience or MS in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and equivalent experience required.
• 2-3 years of Quality Engineering experience is desirable.
• Programming experience in C++ is required.
• Programming experience in MATLAB and/or Java is desirable.
• Experience with the Macintosh environment a plus.
• Familiarity with profiling tools (PurifyPlus, Valgrind, Insure, VTune, Shark) a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
