MATLAB Language Services Quality Engineer
Job Summary
As a Quality Engineer for the MATLAB Language team you will be working on qualifying cutting-edge work in extending the MATLAB code execution infrastructure, Language APIs and algorithms. You will apply your analytical and problem solving skills to design and develop test tools and create automated test suites to test core MATLAB language features. You will have an opportunity to participate in projects from their early design stages and play a critical role in driving them to final product release.
Responsibilities
- Participating in component design reviews
- Designing test tools to facilitate automated testing
- Writing automated unit tests in C++
- Writing automated function and system tests in MATLAB
- Reporting bugs and verifying fixes
- Evaluating product performance
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- BS plus 5 years of experience or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming is required.
- Programming experience in MATLAB is desirable.
- Hands on experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX).
- Programming experience in C++ or Java is preferred.
- Three years of experience in Software Development or Quality Engineering is preferable.
