MATLAB Math Foundation Library Developer
Job Summary
The MATLAB Math Team is seeking a scientific software developer to develop robust, optimized math library functionality, including incorporating standard third-party libraries into MathWorks products.
Responsibilities
Your major responsibility will be to develop and maintain the math libraries underlying MATLAB. This includes:
- Gathering requirements and crafting interfaces to support a variety of development teams across the organization in using our math foundation libraries.
- Supporting adoption and integration of the math libraries into MathWorks’ products.
- Keeping our existing libraries up-to-date and working to continuously improve our development processes.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- BS, MS or Ph.D. with 3 years experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C++
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Experience with Perl, make, and shell scripting.
