MATLAB Compiler Engineer

Job Summary

You will play a central role in making MATLAB the language of choice for development of embedded software, applying static type analysis and compiler optimizations in creative ways, allowing our product to generate the fastest, most efficient, and most human-readable code possible from a high-level, compiler-unfriendly, utterly dynamic MATLAB programs.

Responsibilities

Be a star in our organization, participating in all phases of development, from concept to delivery.  You will join a small, high-energy team focused on making MATLAB an ideal language for embedded algorithm development. This involves state-of-the art type analysis and compiler optimization techniques, a good amount of language design, and a lot of software engineering.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
• Experience with Compiler Development

Preferred Qualifications

• MS +2 years experience in software or compiler development, or a PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated theoretical and practical experience in compiler implementation.
• 2+ years experience delivering high-quality software solutions implemented in C++.
• Have a track record of excellent software craftsmanship.
• Strong communication skills.
