Job Summary

The Phased Array and Signal Processing Quality Engineer is responsible for developing test suite or test tools to conduct testing for the features and functionalities in Phased Array and Signal Processing products. As a member of the development team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release. Candidate with creative, problem solving skills will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

As an individual contributor on the QE team, this person will provide strong technical direction to the testing of products and new examples in the Phased Array and Signal Processing area.  Specific tasks include:

  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews
  • Develop Test procedures for new features
  • Develop & execute automated test suites using MATLAB and Simulink as well as other automation tools
  • Develop & execute interactive/manual tests
  • Report bugs and verifying fixes
  • Perform final product validation

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MATLAB
  • Experience with Radar
  • Knowledge of Signal Processing
  • Knowledge of Filters and Array Processing theory and applications
  • Experience in modeling/testing of radar or sonar system
  • Knowledge of Simulink is a plus
  • Knowledge of code generation/compiler
  • Experience in object-oriented programming
