Job Summary

Networked I/O is increasingly used in real-time embedded systems.

The MathWorks is looking for a motivated engineer to expand our existing
support for Ethernet based protocols. Our customers leverage these
popular standards to easily connect to their hardware.

Successful candidates will be part of an enthusiastic engineering team,
and will work together to deliver high quality designs and well crafted
code.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and implement support for Ethernet based protocols within our real time framework
  • Work with customers and customer facing engineers to understand requirements
  • Work with Quality Engineering and Documentation to ensure the best customer experience
  • Interact with other members of the development team to integrate your work into our product suite

Qualifications Required / Preferred

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of experience with C/C++ code
  • Experience working with Ethernet based industrial protocols, e.g. EtherCAT, AFDX
  • Real time experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink a plus
