Senior C++ Developer – MATLAB Language
Job Summary
Would you enjoy helping create and advance the language of technical computing? Help advance the pace of discovery in engineering and science by building new features of the MATLAB language to help technical application developers in their work. Work as part of a team responsible for the MATLAB object system. Start by building language features and designing new semantics to support the development and deployment of robust software libraries and apps.
Responsibilities
- Support MATLAB Apps and the use of container-file technologies
- Gather requirements, design, implement, test, and maintain new language features and semantics.
- Support internal development teams in the adoption of new features and semantics.
- Work closely with Quality Engineering to develop testing strategies for new features.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, or M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 3 years of software engineering experience
- Excellent C/C++ skills
- Strong object-oriented and software interface design skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with MATLAB a plus
