Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

This person will be an integral part of the company’s Finance Team that has worldwide responsibilities for financial reporting and analysis.  This person reports to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for a significant portion of the WW financial reporting, analysis of operating results and annual financial statement audit.  The position will also support the streamlining of the close processes globally, integration of strategic acquisitions and managing cross functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Drive all elements of the WW monthly financial close and financial reporting to management
  • Perform analysis and create reports for senior management including variance analysis and financial review
  • Continuously review current processes and use of technology to ensure best practices and drive change when appropriate.
  • Function as a primary contact/project lead for cross functional projects within WW finance and operations
  • Participate in the annual financial planning process by working with business area managers to develop financial forecasts and balance sheet projections
  • Interface with all departments and international subsidiaries and function as a liaison for key accounting issues and treatments
  • Assure the integrity of the financial statements, and associated general ledger accounts, complying with GAAP and company policy
  • Produce quarterly and annual GAAP reporting complying with ASC 830
  • Function as lead interface with external auditors, providing schedules, analysis and system documentation as required. Coordinate and review financial footnote preparation
  • Assist in the restatement of prior operating and business statements to provide comparative financial information for internal management reporting.
  • Responsible for technical research and the creation of internal white papers  

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- BS/BA in Accounting (CPA/MBA a plus) 
- 2+ years of Public accounting experience
- Minimum 12 years accounting experience with exposure to software companies

- Demonstrated project management skills

- Must have hands on experience with international consolidations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are a must
- Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel is essential

- Strong documentation skills and ability to provide solid audit trails

- Must have strong problem solving skills and the ability to develop processes
- Possess automated general ledger systems experience (Oracle a plus)
