Senior Software Developer - C++ / Meta-Modeling
Job Summary
Our Simulink development team enhances the experience of every end-user by improving features and functionality to help users specify all of the information necessary to properly define their algorithms.
Responsibilities
You will design, implement and validate new features by applying your knowledge of meta-modeling, object-oriented design, and data structures, including:
• Formalize the concepts of Simulink data and types and its role in model-based design
• Speed up the process of accessing & searching for information
• Enhance the ease with which our customers can configure their data
Qualifications Required / Preferred
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or a PhD degree in engineering or computer science, is required.
- 5+ years of practical C/C++ experience
- Expertise with UML
- Strong abstraction, algorithmic and software design skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow & Real-Time Workshop
- Experience with advanced C++ concepts (STL, Boost and Templates)
- Experience with Java and/or XML
- Experience with meta-modeling and CMOF/EMF
