Working under the direction of Engineering Senior Team Leader 3, will be responsible for playing a key role in the evolving development of MATLAB UI and graphical capabilities; collaborating in a fast paced Agile environment with a highly cross-functional team to propose, design, maintain, enhance and refactor MATLAB UI and graphical components; constructing software to run on and across architectural layers for sharing between platforms; creating design specifications, participating in design discussions and code reviews; working with Product Management to further refine product requirement specifications, functional specifications; having a voice in directly contributing to product vision and direction; crafting designs to then develop, debug, test, and support graphics and GUI services; collaborating with documentation, support, QE and others; and providing timely bug fixes as required.
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and six (6) years of experience in job offered or six (6) years of experience in development or graduate research in distributed client server applications.
OR
Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in development or graduate research in distributed client server applications.
OR
Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.
