Job Summary

Join a small, energetic team creating state-of-the-art report generation tools for the MATLAB and Simulink programming environment.  You will increase the performance, scalability, and usability of our tools, enabling scientists and engineers around the world to publish their results in elegantly formatted reports.

Responsibilities

You will design and implement features of a ground-breaking new report generator capable of producing richly formatted Microsoft Word, HTML, and PDF reports from MATLAB and Simulink models, and maintain existing features.

  • You will be taking designs all the way from concept to completion.
  • You will not only design and code, but also document and communicate your ideas.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in/with Software Development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding command of C++.
  • Broad comprehension of common design patterns, idioms, and styles.
  • Ability to document designs.
  • At least one other strong programming language (preferably Java or JavaScript.)
  • Leadership skills necessary to initiate and complete large independent projects.
  • Report generation, document engineering, electronic publishing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with UML is a plus.
