Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UI design specialist who will innovate the way our customers use Simulink Coder. If you are passionate at creating elegant design, enjoy exploring different technologies, and are comfortable working with multiple teams, this may be an ideal job for you. Our team’s mission is to improve usability of our coder products in all stages of the model based design workflow.

Responsibilities

You will need to quickly understand our code base and feature sets in the code generation area.  You will demonstrate your GUI design and development skills by developing rich, robust new features. You are required to participate in all aspects of software development with enthusiasm: collecting requirements, writing specification, coding, testing and supporting key customers.

Qualifications Required / Preferred

  • Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, human-machine interface, or other closely related field, or M.S. with at least 3 years of commercial/industrial software development experience.
  • Demonstrated GUI design and implementation skills.
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design principles and strong implementation skills in OO programming languages (C/C++ or Java)
  • Strong communication skills and a high energy level.
  • Experience in web application development (Javascript, HTML5, or Web UI libraries) is a big plus.
