Job Summary

Come join the software development team that is responsible for designing leading edge FPGA verification solutions.  You will develop powerful verification features for co-simulating with FPGAs by leveraging the design, visualization, and test bench capabilities of Simulink and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Windows and Linux platform device drivers which will communicate with FPGA development boards through various interfaces, especially, PCI Express, JTAG, and USB.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and implement the world-class FPGA co-simulation solutions.
  • Work with cross functional teams to participate in all aspects of the development process, from planning, to design reviews, implementation, code reviews, and testing.

Qualifications Required / Preferred

  • B.S. in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering with 7+ years industry experience or M.S. in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with developing Windows and Linux device drivers, such as PCIe, JTAG, and USB.
  • Previous experience using MATLAB and Simulink is required.
  • Strong C or C++ programming and debugging skills.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with FPGA implementation, testing, or verification is a plus.
  • Experience with Xilinx Embedded Development Kit (EDK) or Altera Nios II Embedded Design Suite (EDS) is a plus.
  • Experience with HDL simulators, such as Mentor Graphics ModelSim and Synopsys VCS, is a plus.
