Java Framework Developer
Job Summary
You will apply your Java experience to develop user interfaces for MATLAB and Simulink. You will architect plug-in frameworks that will be leveraged across the entire MathWorks product line for web delivery of product extensions. You will collaborate with other innovators to evolve the standard for Internet-aware UI applications.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in architecting and developing Java GUIs and frameworks
- Participate in all stages of design, implementation, testing, and product release
- Work with usability specialists to design intuitive UIs that enhance user experience
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering, plus five (5+) years software engineering experience, or MS/PhD plus three (3+) years experience
- Strong skills in software architecture and object oriented design
- Experience developing Java UIs
Nice to have:
- Experience with MATLAB
- Experience with Simulink
- Unit testing framework experience (e.g., JUnit, Google Guice)
- Experience with C/C++
