Software Development Intern - MATLAB Language
Job Summary
MathWorks is the global, leading developer of technical computing software. MATLAB™ is the de-facto technical computing environment that is accelerating the pace of discovery, innovation, and development of solutions for today’s engineering and scientific challenges.
You will be working with the engineering teams that currently are working on creating the next generation of core MATLAB components that extends language execution, debugging, profiling, and run-time introspection. Your responsibilities will vary but will likely include creating new tooling for developers, creating design documents, updating existing interfaces, identifying and fixing defects, testing code, building demonstrations when applicable, etc. We are looking for individuals with a lot of energy and enthusiasm for strengthening their software engineering skills while contributing to the development of MATLAB.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- Good knowledge of C++.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design.
- Good project management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MATLAB is a plus.
