Software Development Intern: Design Automation
Job Summary
Join our team in the development of software for Model Based Design. Engineers from a broad spectrum of industries around the globe use Model Based Design. These engineers describe their designs using Simulink, Stateflow and MATLAB. Model Based Design automates the process of simulation, design improvement, validation, automatic generation of C or HDL code, real-time testing, and embedded deployment. Model Based Design continues to change the state of the art in the development of embedded systems.
This intern position will be responsible for completing software development projects that further improve Model Based Design.
You will increase your knowledge and gain experience in the following areas: professional software development, MATLAB and Simulink, automated testing methodologies. You will receive training and guidance from highly experienced software engineers.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering
• Very strong working knowledge of C++
• Proficient in object-oriented design.
• Proficient in the use of software development tools.
• Must be a self-starter with the initiative to drive projects to completion.
• Committed to continuous self-improvement of software development skills.
• Must be passionate about technology, software development, and innovation.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and/or Simulink is a plus.
