Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working under the direction of Engineering Manager 1, will be responsible for evolving MathWorks simulation and test management technology; driving the design and evolution of MathWorks tools to test Simulink models; automatically generating code; leveraging software engineering skills to implement new capabilities to manage and analyze test runs within Simulink; preparing and presenting design specifications. Author modular and maintainable code; writing tests and proactively addressing bugs; and coordinating the work across multiple teams.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or Telecommunications and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in development or testing of an automated test framework.
OR
Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or Telecommunications and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience in development or testing of an automated test framework.
Special Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise developing automated test plans and cases following object oriented analysis and design principles using C/C++ technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise applying Component Object Model (COM) principles to the architecture of compatible interfaces for test and plugin frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise developing or testing of Windows NTFS filter drivers for optimizing (Data Deduplication) large data sources.
