Job Summary

Join the Simulink Certification and Standards team and develop software solutions that help leading companies in aerospace, automotive, railway and industrial automation industries streamline certification of their embedded systems.  You will be part of the global development team responsible for the DO Qualification Kit and IEC Certification Kit widely used to support industry standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 26262, EN 50128, or IEC 61508.

Responsibilities

As a member of our global development team, you will be responsible for extending our certification and qualification products to support new tools and emerging industry standards.    Specifically, you’ll:

  • Develop tools to streamline the certification of embedded systems using Simulink products
  • Develop software qualification strategies for new tools and emerging standards
  • Develop certification and qualification kit artifacts to meet process requirements
  • Develop reference workflows to improve process efficiency and quality
  • Provide support for certification authority audits on customer projects
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to reach consensus

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Experience with C++
  • Demonstrated experience in/with Embedded

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in DO-178, ISO-26262 or similar high integrity standard
  • Experience with MathWorks tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, Embedded Coder)
  • Experience developing control algorithms and/or plant modeling
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
