Software Engineer - Simulation and Test Management

Job Summary

Simulink products are driving Model-Based Design and code generation for today's sophisticated and embedded systems. We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to evolve our simulation and test management technology.

Responsibilities

You will drive the design and evolution of our tools to test Simulink models and automatically generated code. You will leverage your software engineering skills to implement new capabilities to manage and analyze test runs within Simulink. You will:

• Prepare and present design specifications
• Author modular and maintainable code
• Write tests and proactively address bugs
• Coordinate the work across multiple teams

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years industry-strength, software development experience
• Excellent oral and written communication
• High-level software design skills especially object-oriented design and methodologies
• Ability to take on varied tasks in unfamiliar areas and provide results in a timely manner
• Experience in any of the following is a plus
  • MATLAB and Simulink
  • Automated testing
  • Client/server architectures
  • Web technologies including HTML, AJAX, CSS, XML, and web servers
  • Database technologies including SQL
