Senior Java Automation Quality Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Java Automation Quality Engineer will join a fast growing team responsible for developing and enhancing test tools, testing infrastructure, and automated and manual test suites for producing high quality Installation and Licensing products. As a key member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release.


The Senior Java Automation Quality Engineer will focus on:

  • Creating test plans and procedures
  • Coding automated test suites
  • Creating test tools and infrastructure
  • Performing interactive product testing
  • Reporting bugs
  • Debugging test failures
  • Participating in design reviews

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience, or master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Programming experience with Java

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and related technologies
  • Excellent software engineering fundamentals and software design skills
  • Familiarity with automated GUI testing tools a plus.
  • Capacity to multi-task several testing activities concurrently.
  • Effective analytical and problem isolation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and have outstanding attention to detail.
