Job Summary

The Quality Engineer for Installation and Licensing will be responsible for developing and enhancing test tools, testing infrastructure, and automated and manual test suites for improving the quality of our products. As a member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release.

Responsibilities

The Installation and Licensing Quality Engineer will focus on writing automated test suites, creating test plans and procedures, creating test tools and infrastructure, performing interactive product testing, reporting bugs, and participating in design reviews. As an individual contributor in the QE department, the candidate will work closely with Engineering, Documentation, and Usability teams.

Qualifications Required / Preferred

  • A Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of professional work experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. degree is required.
  • Programming experience in Java is required.
  • Familiarity with automated GUI testing tools a plus.
  • Capacity to multi-task several testing activities concurrently.
  • Effective analytical and problem isolation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and have outstanding attention to detail
