What is the EVAL Command, When Should I Use It, and How Can I Avoid It?
The EVAL command evaluates MATLAB expressions and it is one of the most powerful and flexible commands in MATLAB. For any command you can execute from the MATLAB prompt, you can also use EVAL to execute the command from an M-file. This tip provides some basic examples of how to use EVAL.
Why Do I Get Compilation Errors Regarding DLL's, INPUT, EVAL, and Other MATLAB Features when I Use the MATLAB Compiler?
The MATLAB Compiler is a tool for translating M-code into C or C++ code, which can then be compiled into executable code by an external C compiler. This tip provides a list of some of the most common compilation errors and the corresponding M-file edits that will correct these errors.
