New Version of Financial Toolbox Adds Functions for Term Structure AnalysisThe new version of the Financial Toolbox includes new tools for term structure and fixed income analysis, as well as for derivatives pricing. New features include:
![]() Interest rate curves are important inputs to term structure analysis, a core activity in financial engineering, but creating these curves from market data is often difficult. Those who regularly build and use these curves must contend with incomplete data, noisy data, differing market conventions, the misalignment of cash flows, and other issues. The Financial Toolbox has been expanded and contains several tools that make the process of deriving and working with interest rate curves easy. In addition, MATLAB gives the user seamless access to world-class mathematical functionality and data visualization capabilities. 24-Hour Online Technical Support
What do you do if it's midnight and you have an urgent MATLAB, Simulink or Stateflow question? Normally you might call or e-mail our Tech Support team, but then you would have to wait until the next business day for the response. Instead of waiting, visit our Tech Support area on the Web and access the same database that our technical support engineers use. Here you'll have 24-hour access to over 6000 technical resources to answer all your questions about The MathWorks products and let you get back to work sooner. Updated Web Product Pages
On the same day that The MathWorks began shipping its Release 10 (MATLAB 5.2) CD, our Web site went live with a new set of Web product pages. User feedback indicated a need for more detailed product descriptions. This information can now be found on each of the Web product pages, including features, demos, examples, product and system requirements, and detailed function and block lists. Be sure to visit www.mathworks.com as we plan to provide more product information making it the most complete and up-to-date resource available.
European Web Mirror
In September 1997, The MathWorks, in cooperation with its international distributors and resellers, installed an Internet server in Europe. The server was installed to meet the growing needs of our many European customers who were facing slow FTP and Web service due to congestion on transatlantic Internet links. The server provides much faster Web and FTP services to the entire European community. Located on the Ebone, the server is ideally positioned a minimum number of network hops away from major centers of user activity.
