Third-Party Products Product Solutions For The Aerospace Industry Using MATLAB And Simulink
D-Six is
a reconfigurable PC-based simulation application designed for the development
and deployment of air-vehicle simulations that can be adapted to a large
number of projects—from the development of flight models to providing a flight
model host for hardware-in-the-loop applications. It contains an M-file library
that allows access to D-Six simulations from MATLAB and Simulink, and a Real-Time
Workshop target with a GUI interface that lets you implement multiple Simulink
models in a single D-Six simulation loop without coding. Bihrle Applied
Research, Inc. www.bihrle.com
EuroSim is
a configurable simulator that enables you to define and create simulation
models using MATLAB and Simulink, scan ANSI C and F77 source code for global
data variables, and translate the simulation models into an executable simulator.
The simulator can then be used to perform simulations with person-in-the-loop
in non-real time and hardware-in-the-loop in real time using C code generated
by Real-Time Workshop. EuoSim also supports the recording and analysis of
simulation data. Dutch Space BV www.eurosim.nl

iDAC-VME is
a high-end turnkey system for data acquisition, control, and personin- the-loop
and hardware- in-the-loop testing and telemetry simulation. It provides a
cost-effective migration path for AC1000 users who wish to keep their VME
hardware and upgrade to a software architecture that supports legacy code
and new applications developed in Simulink and coded using Real-Time Workshop.
Its open architecture and modular software and hardware components also provide
the flexibility required for customizing real-time platforms, but without
the time-consuming integration effort. iControl Inc. www.icontrol-inc.com
The
Satellite Navigation Toolbox (SatNav) is a collection
of MATLAB M-files used by scientists, engineers, university educators,
and students who need to simulate and analyze satellite-based navigation
systems. GPS, Glonass, and user-definable satellite constellations
are emulated, along with the raw measurements (pseudorange and carrier-phase)
formed by the receiver. The toolbox also provides functions to process
the measurements in a variety of GNSS applications. The SatNav Toolbox
is fully compatible with the GPSoft Inertial Navigation System (INS)
Toolbox, which enables simulation of INS applications. GPSoft
LLC www.gpsoftnav.com

VAPS is
a software tool for rapid prototyping, designing, testing, and deploying
Human- Machine Interfaces (HMIs). It enables the development of dynamic,
interactive, real-time graphical HMIs for complex applications, such as the
displays and controls found in aircraft cockpits and automotive instrumentation.
Using VAPS, engineers and users can jointly design and test the look, feel,
functionality, and behavior of a particular device or group of devices. The
interface between VAPS and MATLAB enables the engineer to control and visualize
data, while the interface to Simulink provides enhanced integration, adding
the ability to compile HMIs into single stand-alone applications. eNGENU!TY
