Softward downloads, product pricing, and more are now available on the MathWorks Web site

Software Downloads: Patches, updates, and new products are now available for download from the MathWorks Web site. Full release versions of the new Database Toolbox and the updated Financial Toolbox were released via the Web last fall. MathWorks Account members can now purchase either of these toolboxes from our sales representatives and then download them at their convenience. Financial Toolbox customers with licenses current under maintenance are entitled to download the updated product at no additional charge. This new functionality allows The MathWorks the ability to offer new products and updates between major releases rather than having you wait for the next CD. In addition to eliminating shipping hassles and other delays, the download area helps get a software solution into your hands quickly.

Product Pricing: The MathWorks has begun providing online product pricing to all MathWorks Account members in North America and to most countries outside the U.S. Upon logging in to your MathWorks account, members receive customized views and forms to help them save time and gain the convenience of self-service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Support and Services: To improve Web navigation and to offer one centralized location where customers can find assistance for any service needed, we've ed Tech Support and Customer Service into one easy-to-navigate section. Whether you want to search the same database of FAQs, tech notes and online documentation used by the MathWorks technical support engineers or ask about installing a new version of MATLAB, the navigation is simple.

European Mirror Site: To help provide customers and prospects outside North America with easier and faster access to information on our Web site, we have created a mirror of our North American server. Synchronized hourly, this site provides exactly the same information as the North American site and the same high level of support, but with less of a delay
