  • Contest Description

You are trying to model the structure of a molecule (which for the sake of simplicity will be limited to two dimensions). You have been given a collection of plastic connecting rods that represent the distance between pairs of atoms in the molecule. Your job is to fit the connecting rods together as well as possible into a consistent two dimensional shape. Read the rules for more information, or download the testsuite from the MATLAB Central File Exchange.
