About the MATLAB Programming ContestA note from your MATLAB Contest TeamMATLAB Programming Contests are held semi-annually by the MATLAB Contest Team. Each contest presents a different problem to be solved. Topics are varied and can range from gene sequencing to surveying the planet Mars. We receive hundreds of entries for every contest from contestants vying for the coveted top spot. Since this is an online contest, you'll get to compete with the best programmers from all over the world! Contestants submit MATLAB programs that try to solve a problem we publish on our website. Our server automatically tests each entry for correctness and efficiency. A listing shows all the entries that have submitted so far, along with their scores. Over the course of the contest, the first-place entry steadily improves as contestants build on each other's work and try to outdo each other.
