About the ContestA note from your MATLAB Contest Team. The MATLAB Programming Contest is a semi-annual programming contest organized by the MathWorks. Each contest presents a different problem to be solved. Topics are varied and can range from gene sequencing to surveying the planet Mars. We receive hundreds of entries every contest from contestants vying for the coveted top spot. Since this is an online contest, you'll also get to compete amongst programmers from all over the world! The Contest rules and a description of the problem to be solved with solver function arguments will be posted to the Contest home page the morning of the contest start date. You can access the contest home page either through the link included in the contest e-mail notification or by clicking on the "Contest" link off the MATLAB Central home page. We also provide a contest zip file for download. This includes a sample solver function and basic test suite to help you get started. Once you have developed your entry, you can submit it online via the contest home page. Your code will then be run against our full test suite and scored. You can check how your submissions are faring by viewing our complete ranking list. (You are allowed to submit more than one entry.) Are you ready to join the ranks of top MATLAB programmers? If you happen to stumble upon this page when a contest is not running, you can sign up for contest notification so you'll be e-mailed when the next contest approaches. Be one of the first to log on to our site and compete - we do have early bird prizes to give away! Good luck and we look forward to seeing your submissions soon. -- The MATLAB Contest Team -- |
