step

System object: dsp.ArrayVectorSubtractor
Package: dsp

Subtract vector from array along specified dimension

Syntax

Y = step(H,A,V)
Y = step(H,A)

Description

Y = step(H,A,V) returns Y. The value of Y results from subtracting the elements of input vector V from the input array A along the specified dimension when the VectorSource property is Input port. The length of the input V must equal the length of the specified dimension of A.

Y = step(H,A) returns Y. The value of Y results from subtracting the elements of the vector specified in the Vector property from the input array A along the specified dimension when the VectorSource property is Property. The length of the vector specified in the Vector property must equal the length of the specified dimension of A.

    Note:   The object performs an initialization the first time the step method is executed. This initialization locks nontunable properties and input specifications, such as dimensions, complexity, and data type of the input data. If you change a nontunable property or an input specification, the System object™ issues an error. To change nontunable properties or inputs, you must first call the release method to unlock the object.
