Phased Array System Toolbox™ provides several antenna and microphone element types. The toolbox lets you model antenna and microphone elements whose radiation pattern can be described by ideal analytic functions or defined from frequency-dependent measured data. These types include antennas which generate isotropic or cosine antenna patterns radiation and dipole antennas for producing polarized electromagnetic fields. The toolbox includes omnidirectional and custom microphones.

You can also employ antennas from Antenna Toolbox™. Use of Antenna Toolbox requires an additional license. For an example of how to use Antenna Toolbox antennas in place of Phased Array System Toolbox antennas, go to Using Antenna Toolbox.
