Hydraulic Circuit with 3-Way Valve and Differential Cylinder

This example shows the use of a 3-way valve in combination with a differential cylinder. The valve connects cylinder port A either to tank or to cylinder chamber B through the fixed orifice. The cylinder extends when its ports are connected, due to difference in piston areas, and retracts if chamber A is connected to tank. Orifice FO controls extension speed.
