Reverberation

This example shows how to use Audio ADC and DAC blocks to simulate audio reverberation on your Texas Instruments™ DSP platform.

Required Hardware:

  • Spectrum Digital® C5510DSK board

The following figure shows the Reverberation Algorithm which is executed in the context of an idle task:

Description

This model shows the use of the ADC and DAC blocks to simulate audio reverberation applied to an audio input signal. Real-time scheduling of the audio reverberation application is accomplished through the use of an idle task.

Hardware Connections

  • Connect an audio source to the "Line in" input port

  • Connect a speaker / headphone to the "Line Out" output port

To Run the Example on the DSP Board

  • Open the model.

  • Open the Target Hardware Resources dialog and make sure that the specified CPU clock speed matches to that of your target board.

  • Click "Build Model" button to generate, build, load and run the DSP code.
