Curl of a vector field

    Note:   linalg::curl will be removed in a future release. Use curl instead.

Use only in the MuPAD Notebook Interface.

This functionality does not run in MATLAB.


linalg::curl(v, x)
linalg::curl(v, x, ogCoord, <c>)


linalg::curl(v, x) computes the curl of the three-dimensional vector field with respect to the three-dimensional vector in Cartesian coordinates. This is the vector field


linalg::curl and curl are equivalent. See details and examples on the curl help page.



A list of three arithmetical expressions, or a three-dimensional vector (a 3×1 or 1 ×3 matrix of a domain of category Cat::Matrix)


A list of three identifiers or indexed identifiers


The name of a three-imensional orthogonal coordinate system predefined in the table linalg::ogCoordTab, or a list of algebraic expressions representing the scale factors of an orthogonal coordinate system.


The parameter of the coordinate systems EllipticCylindrical and Torus, respectively: an arithmetical expression. The default value is c = 1.
