idc.isconnection - Verify whether connections to Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data's RemotePlus data servers are valid

Syntax

x = isconnection(Connect)

Arguments

Connect

Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data's RemotePlus connection object created with the idc function.

Description

x = isconnection(Connect) returns x = 1 if the connection is a valid Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data's RemotePlus connection, and x = 0 otherwise.

Examples

Establish an Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data's RemotePlus connection c:

c = idc

Verify that c is a valid connection:

x = isconnection(c)
x = 1
