MCR Run-Time Options

When you roll-out a COM component to end users, there are times when you need to specify MCR options to create a log file or improve performance.

Pass these options with either mcc or deploytool.

What MCR Options are Supported for COM?

-nojvm — Launches the MCR without a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). This can improve performance of deployed applications, in some cases.
-logfile — Allows you to specify a log file name.

How Do I Specify MCR Options?

You do this by invoking the following MWUtil API calls, detailed with examples in Utility Library for Microsoft COM Components:
