Overview of the Integration Process

Each MATLAB Builder EX component is built as a COM object that you can access from Microsoft Excel through Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). This topic provides general information on how to integrate the MATLAB Builder EX components into Excel using the VBA programming environment.

It assumes you have the skill set of a Microsoft Excel Developer and have a working knowledge of VBA.

This section is not intended to teach you to program in Visual Basic. Refer to the VBA documentation provided with Excel for general programming information.
