Using This Guide

To benefit from this User's Guide, you should be familiar with

When using Simulink Coder code generation software and Real-Time Windows Target software, you do not need to program in C or other low-level programming languages to create and test real-time systems.

If You Are a New User — Begin with Getting Started. This chapter gives you an overview of Real-Time Windows Target features and the development environment. Next, read and try the examples in Basic Procedures.

If You Are an Experienced User — We suggest you review the sections on signal tracing and signal logging in Basic Procedures. After you are familiar with using Real-Time Windows Target software, read how to add I/O drivers to your Simulink model in Boards, Blocks, and Drivers.
