MPL PATI EEPROM Write

MPL PATI EEPROM Write

Library

Simulink® Real-Time™ Library for MPL

General Description

The MPL PATI EEPROM Write block writes MPL boot code on the EEPROM. Before executing a Simulink Real-Time model that contains an MPL PATI block, you must first write MPL boot code on the EEPROM using the MPL PATI EEPROM Write block.

You must use this block by itself in an empty model to re-flash the EEPROM. Be sure to run this model only once to write the boot code on the EEPROM. You must reboot the target computer before executing the actual model. Do not include this block in another model.

To flash the EEPROM with the boot code:

  1. Add the MPL PATI EEPROM Write block to an empty model. To access the library that contains this block, type xpcmpllib.

  2. Build and execute this model. The work is completed when the model is downloaded to the target computer.

  3. Reboot the target computer.

  4. Build and execute your actual model.

Block Parameters

PCI slot

If only one board of this type is in the target computer, enter -1 to locate the board.

If two or more boards of this type are in the target computer, enter the bus number and the PCI slot number of the board associated with this driver block. Use the format [BusNumber,SlotNumber]. To determine the bus number and the PCI slot number, type:

tg = slrt;
getPCIInfo(tg, 'installed')
