Real-Time Application Instruments with Simulink Real-Time Explorer

Graphical instruments for displaying signal values, setting parameter values

Communicate with a real-time application running on a target computer through graphical instrument panels. After creating instrument panels, drag instruments to the panels, and then drag parameters and signals to the instruments. Run your real-time application in Simulink® Real-Time™ Explorer. Use the instruments to control the parameters and view the signal outputs. See Instrumentation for Real-Time Applications.

Background

Instrumentation for Real-Time Applications

Using Simulink Real-Time Explorer instruments to access your real-time application.

Display and Filter Hierarchical Signals and Parameters

Find and view signals and parameters with hierarchical path information

Create and Run Instrumented Models

View Signal Waveforms with Scope Instrument

Populate an instrument panel with parameter tuning and scope instruments

View Signal Waveforms with Signal Triggered Scope Instrument

The default trigger mode of the Scope instrument is SINGLESHOT, which displays one sample sweep.

Instrument a Tank Model

Populate an instrument panel with parameter tuning and signal viewing instruments.

Save Instrumented Model

Save Environment Properties

Save target computer property settings to the development computer.

Save and Load Instrument Panels

Save instrument panels to the development computer and load them again.

Save and Restore Layouts

Save Simulink Real-Time Explorer session layouts to the development computer and restore them.
