The MathWorks Automotive Advisory Board
The MathWorks Automotive Advisory Board (MAAB) was originally established to coordinate feature requests from several key customers in the automotive industry. The initial meeting in July 1998 involved Ford, Daimler Benz, and Toyota.
Meetings now involve many of the major automotive OEMs and suppliers, and focus on MathWorks controls, simulation, and code generation products including Simulink, Stateflow, and Real-Time Workshop. To learn more about the MAAB and the MathWorks International Automotive Conference, read the related press release.
An important result of the MAAB has been a set of modeling style guidelines, which have recently been updated to Version 2.0. These guidelines are publicly available on the e-Guidelines web site (requires e-Guidelines log-in) and in the formats below.
