How can I set the font of the MATLAB Desktop to Lucinda Console with size 11, in MATLAB 7.0 (R14)?

Only a few font size options show up in the drop down menu when setting the Desktop code font, using "File->Preferences->Fonts", to a particular font name. For example if I set it to LUCINDA CONSOLE, MATLAB shows only 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 18, 24, 36, 48. I would like to see all available font sizes in the drop down menu such as 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 36, 48, 72, which are available in WORDPAD.

The ability to display all available font sizes in the "File->Preferences->Fonts" dropdown list is currently not available in MATLAB 7.0 (R14).

To work around this issue, you can set the desktop font to any size supported on the machine by typing the font size in the field.
